FEIG ELECTRONIC supports local Fire Departments
Donation handover as part of an exercise on the company premises
On the occasion of an exercise by the local Fire Department on the premises of FEIG ELECTRONIC GmbH, the management handed over two checks of 500, - Euro to the fire brigades in Weilburg and Waldhausen.
"With the money we want to honor the volunteer work of firefighters, who are always ready to protect the people in the city from disasters," said Wolfgang Feig, managing partner of the company. "As the willingness to volunteer in our society decreases and many volunteer firefighters, especially in rural areas must stop their operations due to no longer existing minimum size, we want to make a contribution to ensure that this does not happen in Weilburg," said Feig.
FEIG ELECTRONIC is “Partner of the Fire Brigade”
But the fire brigade is not only financially important to FEIG ELECTRONIC. The company employs several volunteer firefighters and the management generously exempts these employees from duty for training and deployment services.
In the summer of this year, the company was honored by the fire brigade association with the promotional sign "Partner of the Fire Brigade" for this long-standing commitment.
