Participation in the sponsors' cup of the JobStairs Giessen 46ers

Team Building and a lot of fun with basketball

Direct contact with the basketball players of the JobStairs Giessen 46ers, team building and a total of four games against teams from the sponsors of this basketball pro A team - these were the general conditions for a sporty afternoon in Giessen.

FEIG ELECTRONIC received a wildcard for this year's sponsors' cup of the JobStairs Giessen 46ers and spontaneously decided to compete with a team against other teams of the current sponsors of the Giessen Pro A basketball team.

For this purpose, players from very different working areas at FEIG came together, which made it possible to get to know each other beyond the daily work.

At the beginning of the tournament, each team was assigned a current player from the professional squad of the 46ers as a coach - the "FEIG Baskets Weilburg" drew one of the Giessen point guards in Jason Barnes.

In a group of 5, the FEIG team then played "everyone against everyone" and had to realize that the other teams were often better attuned and sometimes had real basketball players in their ranks. Unfortunately, all 4 games were lost, but that didn't diminish the fun of the game - quite the opposite: after the tournament, many people asked if FEIG would take part in the Sponsors' Cup 2023/24 again.
