Application Software for cVEND Payment Terminals
New OEM Platform cVEND with Linux Controller for open loop and closed loop Payment Systems
With the cVEND product family FEIG ELEC- TRONIC offers an OEM platform for closed loop and open loop payment systems. Closed loop payment systems are defined in a clear, closed environment and accept as a payment medium only issued staff- or mem- ber cards within the facility.
Open loop systems are characterized by complex structures, accepting numerous contactless debit and credit cards for payment.
All cVEND devices are equipped with a Linux Controller that allows operation of either own closed loop applications or open loop payment applications. The single variants cVEND plug (module for integration into non conducting environments) and cVEND box/box + (terminals with housing for integration in metallic environments) are available either as a RFID Reader for closed loop systems or as a PCI certified OEM platform with EMVCo Level 2 kernel for open loop systems.
FEIG Payment Cloud
With the FEIG Payment Cloud FEIG ELECTRONIC presents a payment application for cVEND payment terminals, which is largely provided in the cloud. Thereby different processes can be simplified.
Any type of software is loaded from a central location. It is the same with software updates or troubleshooting. Safety approvals (e.g. PCI-DSS) cause less effort, as the terminal software is not installed at the customer site, but central in a data center. Maintenance of the terminals on site is thus limited merely to the hardware.
